Product Introduction
The XF-02 Hall flowmeter is manufactured according to GB1482-2010-T standard funnel method (Hall flowmeter replaces GB1479-84 and GB1482-84 standard specifications). It is used to test the flow velocity and loose packing density of metal powder and non-metal powder.
This method is only suitable for powder that can flow freely through a standard funnel with a diameter of 2.5mm or 5.0mm. The rest of this standard specifies a method for the determination of powder bulk density that cannot be determined through a standard funnel with an aperture of 5.0mm.
How it works: Powder falls freely from funnel hole to fill cup. In the loose packing state, the loose density of powder is expressed by the mass of powder per unit volume. This standard is equivalent to ISO 3923/1 -- 1979, Determination of loose packing density of Metallic powders -- Part 1: Funnel method.
Device Structure
  • Funnel: Standard funnel hole diameter D has two specifications: 2.5mm diameter and 5.0mm diameter
  • Funnel Angle: 60 degrees
  • Cylindrical cup: Volume 25±0.05cm³, internal meridian 31±1mm
  • Fabrication of cups and funnels: Made of non-magnetic corrosion-resistant metal (typically brass or stainless steel) with carefully polished inner surfaces
  • Bracket and base: Bracket fixes funnel while base must be horizontal and firm. Distance between funnel hole bottom and cup top is 25mm
  • Balance: Should have sufficient measuring range to accurately weigh samples to 0.01g (supplied by user)
